Soulful Mattebesset River Run – Sunday August 5th – 9:30 am to 1:00 pm

The Mattabesset River is a nature lover’s dream come true! Only 25 minutes from Hartford, this river meanders through beautiful wetlands, farmlands and a gorgeous meadow that will leave you in bliss and awe!

You must be able to swim to participate in this event! Stand Up Paddle Board, Kayak with Life Jacket and Paddle are included!

Prepare to take in all the sights of nature! Geese, swan, duck, migratory birds, crane, bathing turtles, swallow tail, seagull, and eagle. We might see on occasional Osprey fly by building a nest!

This is a gentle paddle for beginners and intermediate paddlers but please note that it takes about 3 hours for this trip with some stopping along the way for fun and frolicking in the water!
